Replacement 225mm hook & loop backing pad for the Rutlands® Brushless Drywall Random Orbital Sander. This low profile backing pad features 48 holes, with air channels directed towards to the centre of the pad, for effective dust extraction when used with a suitable abrasive such as Rutlands® Net Abrasive Discs and a connected dust extractor. The pad is medium density, providing a small amount of flex appropriate for wall and ceiling sanding. Regular backing pad replacement is essential for the longevity of the sander, as worn pads can unbalance the sander causing vibration and motor damage. ©
