This jig is designed to add an edge to all sizes of scissors and shears. The 110mm wide twin clamps prevent the blade from pivoting, allowing for a safe and less time consuming sharpening process. The jig sits on a smooth surface support plate allowing the scissors to glide across the stone with light pressure being applied. This jig is also used for sharpening the blades of electric hand planes. ©
