The Story
This bench grinder turning tool sharpening set contains a V groove jig, fingernail grinding jig and a skew grinding jig. The V groove jig accepts turning tools up to 600mm in length and is designed to provide support at the base of your tool to ensure a highly precise grind. The fingernail grinding jig allows you to accurately set the grind angle of a desired fingernail grind on spindle or bowl gouges, which can be accurately and easily repeated in the future. The skew grinding jig sits securely onto the V groove jig and allows you to grind precision bevels on any skew chisel.
The main body of the set is secured to your workbench in-line and underneath the grinding wheel of the bench grinder. It has a smooth sliding action to correctly position the turning tool and a secure locking lever which locks the jig in position. The set is manufactured from thick steel pressings to reduce vibration during use. ©
