Power Carving Wood Planing Disc

The Rutlands® wood planing disc for angle grinders provides rapid stock removal whilst leaving the cleanest possible finish. Designed for planing and levelling rough wood, the disc will also carve and sculpt convex and concave forms when used at an angle. Easy to control, the 100mm diameter disc will produce decorative, chisel-like shallow textures when applied across the surface of a project. 

Rather than tearing the wood like rotary burr disc, the four tungsten carbide inserts finely shave the wood, leaving an ultra-smooth finish requiring minimal sanding. Micro-grain tungsten carbide construction ensures the blades provide long lasting sharpness, even when carving the toughest hardwoods.

The alloy steel body has been precision machined to ensure balanced, vibration-free operation and maximum control whilst carving. With a 22.2mm bore, the disc will attach to the most popular sizes (115mm, 125mm) of angle grinder. Recommended maximum speed is 12,000 RPM. Supplied with a T15 torx key. ©
